What it is

The product

SKrutin is an iPad-first video coaching tool for cricket. A single iPad at the nets becomes a full coaching lab: record, AI-interpolated slow motion, ball tracking, biomechanics scoring, Claude-powered written coaching note, and one-tap share to the player's phone. Offline-first at the nets, online when reconnected.

The problem

What we set out to solve

Cricket coaches know what to look for — line, length, shoulder line, elbow angle, follow-through — but the tools to capture and share that analysis live on $20K Hawk-Eye rigs at first-class grounds, not on academy nets. Coaches end up with grainy phone footage they never edit, players never see, and reports that get written from memory weeks later.

The build

How it actually works

We built SKrutin as a single iPad app with a tightly-integrated cloud back-end. Recording is multi-camera at 60–240 fps. Slow-motion uses RIFE frame interpolation, so even a 30 fps capture becomes smooth slow-mo on the iPad. Ball tracking + line/length overlay is generated on-device. Pose estimation breaks the action into shoulder line, elbow angle, head position, follow-through — each scored with a recommendation. Claude turns the technical output into an age-appropriate coaching note in the player's language. Coach reviews; player gets the link before they leave the ground.
